Training Is Marketing

Training is marketing.

Here’s how to make a great first impression.

When you love a new movie, you want to tell everyone about it.

When you try a new restaurant, you’re telling your friends they need to go...now!

Hiring managers should bring that same energy into every interview.

Stop thinking about hiring, onboarding, and training as admin work. Start thinking about it as marketing. Start thinking about it as an opportunity for connection.

When you talk about your organization with genuine enthusiasm, you help people understand that they're making the right choice by interviewing with you. You help them see what you see.

When a supervisor uses the same language that a person has seen in a job posting, that's when it clicks.

Now your new hire doesn't just begin to understand your culture. They start to believe it, and then they act on it. They take that energy, and they share it with others.

That's how momentum starts. So, see every new interview and new hire as potential.

Set the tone, and watch what happens.
